​After going from being a bathing assistant and apprentice in a local salon and gaining training and experience in another local salon to opening my own salon in 2015, it wasn't until July 2019 I completed the iPet Level 3 Open College Network diploma in dog grooming under multi award winning groomer Kelly Gayler (as seen on BBC's Pooch Perfect) at KJG Dog Grooming Academy in Devon, and became an officially qualified dog groomer with a recognised industry qualification.

In February 2020 I completed my City and Guilds level 2 dog grooming qualification at another award winning academy, Canine Design Academy in Shepton Mallet, another recognised industry qualification, followed by the City and Guilds level 3 qualification which I completed in 2023, passing one of my practical exams with a distinction!​

I regularly attend many seminars, courses and top up training days across the South West of England to keep up to date on the ever changing skills and styles of the dog grooming industry.

I have recently developed a keen interest in competing in grooming competitions to increase my knowledge and skills in the industry.
